the business
I tutor students in Spanish, French, English, English Literature, US History, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics.
My experience:
I have tutored both privately and publicly over the past 2 years. I have met students in their homes, school, or local libraries. I have tutored students ages 5 to 18 for 1-2 hours per session usually once a week.

My tutoring approach:
During the first session, I get to know the student and find out where they are academically. I then use their materials as well as my own (that I research on the internet) to help them with their assignments. I try to make the session interesting to the student by bringing in a variety of materials. Since students learn in different ways, I introduce different techniques that facilitate their learning. I am constantly altering my style to fit each student, making sure they are learning easily while still being challenged. |
